Dave and Guy are authorities in membership sales and retention, they are joined by other industry experts presenting an educational take on all things for Sales and Retention in the leisure industry.

Session 1 – The leaving process and re-engaging Ex-members – by Dave Reeves & Guy Griffiths
How to handle leavers, it’s not too late to learn, and leave the door open for them to return.
Learn how to deal with leavers, handle objections and make spectacular saves. Collect valuable data on the leaver motives. The session will end with some top tips on sign up Ex-Members and stop them leaving in the first place!
Session 2 – GDPR is Coming time to “sink or swim”– Be Prepared by Kellie Peters & Regina Lally
With less than a year to go until the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), leisure businesses must take action now.
You can’t learn to swim just reading theory, and data protection is more than ticking a box. We’ll take you through a practical approach to implementing good data protection practice in your club to prepare for GDPR.
Recent reports indicate that too many business owners and executives are unaware of GDPR. Kellie and Regina will take a practical approach to putting you on the path to GDPR compliance.
If you want to find out what your Club needs to do to comply with the new Data Protection Law, then this is a “must go” to session.
Session 3 – Leisure Trends – by Dr Steven Mann from UK Active
Latest ukactive benchmark data – being better than average?
The latest ukactive figures; what is average in the UK fitness industry, and how you can be better and excel in the leisure sector.

Enjoy a sumptuous two course Lunch overlooking the beautiful grounds of The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club. A great opportunity to speak with the speakers or mingle with fellow industry compatriots.
Session 4 – Refining Your Data – by Chris Phillips
Making analysis easier/simpler/faster, strategic tools for Sales & Retention
The session will end with some top tips and free handouts that can be taken back to your leisure centre or club for future reference.
Session 5 – The ABC of Sales KPI’s – by Dave Reeves
What do Sales KPI’s actually mean and how do you set them for your leisure facility to make a difference to your sales team? Whether it is “calls to appointments”, “appointments to conversion” or “show rates”. This session will take you through the information that you need to make a difference to your sales processes.
Session 6 – The XYZ of Retention KPI’s – by Guy Griffiths
Understand how to monitor your retention efforts, find out what processes are working and refine them.
If you cannot monitor it… you cannot manage it.
